| Tonight...well...technically yesterday night a bunch of us (37 I think) got together at Sweet Tomatoes to celebrate Lily's b-day. It was great to see people I haven't seen in a while and to catch up with them. We took up a large portion of the restaurant. PJ had bought Lily a balloon with "30" printed all over it. One of the servers made a comment about how he was turning 30 tomorrow (technically today). We handed him the balloon and sang happy b-day to him. Lol, he's probably never going to forget this day. I mean, how often do a bunch of total strangers sing happy b-day to the server and give him a balloon while on the job? Haha, we even took pictures with him. He was so cool about us singing to him that he even requested that we e-mail him the pictures. This is the first time I've ever seen the server and customer switch roles when it comes to singing happy b-day to someone. |

| A control freak....that's what someone said I am....hmmm... I never saw myself that way. I try to be flexible and find common ground. I ask a lot of questions and try to have open dialogue with people before making a decision that affects JYAF. At least I think I do... Hmmm....maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm a little more controlling than I realize. Sigh. |

| Just some totally random thoughts....sorry no thoughts on one topic today. Going all over the map today
It's interesting whenever I'm on the outside looking in as far as seeing others crush on another person. Some are cute and just really innocent. Makes me want to say "aww" with a smile. Others are just plain nauseating. You know, the ones where it's just an overload of "mushy" (sorry, for the lack of wording...being nice here) feelings and every time you see that person you just sort of dry heave (or at least want to anyway). Hmmm....wonder which category I fall into. Hopefully not the dry heaving category....
I'm so excited! I finally get to spend a week with...Prophet! Yes, it'll be a glorious week just Prophet and me. Thank you, Frank Peretti!
I'm such a nerd. I am actually excited about having received my stamps this week. I ordered some stamps through Stamps.com--an online site that allows you to customize stamps. When I saw that the stamps had arrived in the mail I tore open the envelope the minute I had a chance.
